BTM Therapy
Scholarship Initiative

We were selected as a semifinalist in the Entrepreneur of Impact Competition to win funding for therapy scholarships and the response from the community made something very clear, people deeply want to support therapy access. So instead of stopping here, we’re turning that momentum into a long-term scholarship initiative. Community sponsors and supporters help fund therapy access initiatives for individuals facing financial barriers.

      Our 2026 Goal:

Fund 100 therapy sessions for those seeking culturally competent care with Black therapists.

Black Therapists Matter is expanding our community impact through the Therapy Access Initiative, a sponsored program created to increase access to culturally competent mental health care.

Many individuals want therapy but face financial barriers to getting started. Through strategic sponsorships and partnerships, we fund therapy sessions, mental health workshops, and community wellness programming that connects people to licensed Black therapists.

We invite businesses and organizations to partner with us as Community Impact Sponsors to help expand access to mental health support while aligning their brand with meaningful, measurable impact.

Sponsorship support helps fund:
• Therapy session sponsorships
• Mental health workshops
• Community wellness programming

• Access to culturally competent therapists

Thank You to our Community Supporters!

We believe cost should never be the reason someone goes without mental health support.
